What a day

Pretty amazing when Las Vegas scores 6 but that is paltry compared to the other 3 teams. Nimmo HR is very welcome and his very high on base % is highly encouraging. I love to see so much hitting. So many guys are impressing. Only Plawecki and Smith (both 0-5) did not join in the festivities. Abreu's ridiculous on base % continues (no stats in front of me, he but must be over .600) and I might be wrong, but think TJ Rivera had 2nd five RBI game in the first 10 days of April. Wow. KEEP ROCKING, BOYS.

Oh, and shout outs to Degrom, Gorski, and Whelan on the slinger's side.

Now, if we could just swap Giancarlos with the Marlins...

And sorry, let me certainly add Ynoa to the pitching shout outs...all he does is win (19-4, including playoffs, since start of last season).

Thomas-

Yes, quite a day. We should add pitching shout outs to some of the bull pen guys - Edgin, Walters, Velasquez, Kolarek. It was a day when there could have been 6 or 7 players of the day. i Actually wanted to have 4, adding Jeff McNeil and Pat Biondi to Perez and Rivera, but I couldn't get blogger to upload 4 pics. Ynoa and Gorski also deserved POTD mention.

Abreu's .528 avg leads the PCL by 2 points. His OBP is .591, good for 2nd place, but there are several players ahead of his SLG of .684.
