Who is Nick Pivetta?

Quite frankly here, I never even heard of the guy. His ERA is like 5.00. Not kidding. He gave up just two NY Mets hits yesterday. Two. What is going on here, won't last. This Mets' offense has too many good weapons.

It's time to break out the real Mets.

So what's at the heart of this hitting slump?

Simple. Too many key Mets' batters from seasons prior, who we all know are very good and very reliable, are just not ignited yet. Guys they can count on to be their main core on offense.

Trust me. Come May 15th, every NY Mets fans will be cheering loudly for Francisco Lindor. He's just in an adjustment funk I think. Like when your back is out, and you get an adjustment made to it and then its fine again. Same thing. Francisco will be fine too. We have to be patient until his NY wings come out and he flies high again. Welcome him here. He's an ace.

Is it shakeup time here?

I for one, do not at all think so. I am stubborn perhaps, but that same core from last season is still here, and to me it's simply a matter of spark and ignition. So what would I suggest, if you do not mind. They just need to have an "open mic/all team impromptu type conversation" (playeres, manager, coaches) over an open fire pig roast. That simple. See what's up and what page everyone is on with what's been going on and maybe even stuff like the pandemic. Clear the air. Hang out the dirty laundry so to speak, if there is any to hang out. Get it settled and workout any possible issues that may exist. Be the team we all know that this is.

It's time to start ripping shirts off again after game winning homeruns, and knock off the anemia looking thing that just ain't them.

I stand by what I have seen here in past seasons with these same exact batters. It was real. It was them. There was an energy to it, an excitement too.

This 2021 NY Mets' offense has way too much potential to pretend to be so blase looking.

It will happen. I have zero doubt.
