How the heck are the Nata supposed to sign any quality players in the first ten rounds with 2 million bucks! And as a Mets fan I'm saying that....
It won't be long until the Mets only get that much and are expected to sustain a good system on very little money. With that amount, you have to go all out on about three picks and hope for the best. Damn, I was pissed about the Mets' allotment , but after you see what the Nats and Angels are up against, how can you get pissed?
The Nats created this for themselves by signing guys like Matt Purke and Anthony Renaudo about slot.
I believe they did the right thing at the right time, but, under this system, it comes back to bite you
