Binghamton jumped out to a 2-0 lead with RBI doubles by Darrell Ceciliani and Blake Forsythe in the 3rd inning. Binghamton starter Tyler Pill cruised through the first five innings, but ran into trouble in the 6th. Akron chased Pill after the first four hitters reached base, and the rout was on.
