As a Junior (2009): - Two-way player who did both jobs well… at the plate was 46-for-148 (.311) with 34 runs, three doubles, two triples, five homers and 27 RBI… was also successful on 8-of-11 stolen base attempts… as a first baseman made 260 putouts with 14 assists and made one error (.996 fielding percentage)… as a pitcher saved eight games which is tied for fourth best for a single season at PLNU… posted a 1-1 record and a 4.74 ERA… 15 appearances out of the bullpen… 19 innings pitched, 10 earned runs allowed with 22 strikeouts and 10 walks… batters hit .229… four three-hit games during the year… went 3-for-4 with four RBI on 4/23 at Cal Baptist… 2-for-3 with a RBI on 5/26 in an NAIA World Series game against Lubbock Christian… had a save in the postseason, a two-inning effort against Lee on 5/27.

Prior to PLNU - Attended Horizon High School and played for the Panthers for four years under Coach Clarence Black… earned four varsity letter and many other awards including first team all conference junior and senior year and all state senior year… also participated in football and basketball and was the team MVP senior year… most exciting baseball moment was pitching in the CIF championship game his junior year of high school… greatest sports thrill in high school was winning the state title in basketball during senior year… was on the honor roll all four years with a 4.33 GPA.
