Buffalo Bisons Promote Anthony Sprague to Director of Sales
Sprague is entering 10th season with the Bisons
The Buffalo Bisons today announced that ANTHONY SPRAGUE has been promoted to Director of Sales. The promotion is effective immediately.
In his new role, Sprague will oversee all Bisons’ season ticket and group sales as well as the club’s ballpark sponsorship efforts.
“Sprague was the perfect candidate for this position because of his creative energy and diligent work ethic. His dedication to the ideals of Bisons Baseball is paramount to the continued success of our organization,” said Jonathan A. Dandes, President of Rich Baseball Operations. “His experience at and knowledge of both the ticket sales and sponsorship levels will be instrumental to providing the best ballpark experience to all our fans and clients.”
Sprague, 31, is entering his 10th season with the Bisons. Following a summer internship with the team in 2002, Sprague served as a full-time Account Executive. Along with group and season ticket sales and ballpark sponsorship, Sprague was instrumental in several Bisons signature events such as School Kids Day, First Responder’s Night and Star Wars Night.
Sprague is currently involved in a number of community causes including the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Big Brothers and Sisters and the American Heart Association. He is currently the chair for the 2010 Buffalo Niagara Heart Walk.
A native of Hoosick Falls, NY, Sprague is a 2002 graduate of SUNY Cortland. He played four seasons for the baseball Red Dragons and led his team to four Division III College World Series appearances. Sprague currently resides in Cheektowaga with his wife, Patricia.
