Dirty Laundry:
1. We’ve added a couple of more writers here at Mack’s Mets and they are brothers. Prince and Sadiq Rahman are said to have two completely different opinions on our favorite team, so this will be interesting. Prince will post every Monday-Sunday at 10pm EST and also at 8am on Monday and Thursday. Sadiq will wing it so far as a free agent.
2. There’s a new page on the right side of the lead page, which is still a work in progress. It will list the top prospects of all the major league teams, as ranked by various online sites. Hopefully, I’ll have a bunch of info up on here in the next 30 days.

I May Be Wrong, But…
1. I talked to SP Dylan Owen yesterday, who is lights out this month down in the Venezuelan Fall League (.176). Owen said that the umpires call the games pretty tight down there and he’s not throwing anything new, just the same pitches he’s already thrown. It will be interesting to see if the Mets protect Dylan when the Rule 5 Draft comes up.
2. The Mets resigned C Jean Luc Blaquiere and OF Raul Reyes. Blaquiere platooned with Kai Gronauer on the 2009 Savannah Sand Gnats, got off to a bad start in 2009 with St. Lucie (.186 in 172-AB) and then became one of those roaming backups that moved around the organization. He played Binghamton (.229) last season. The 25-year old Reyes was a pleasant surprise for Binghamton (.292, 12-HR, 50-RBI) last season and finished the season in Buffalo. Blaquiere could wind up back on either team and Ryes will probably be one of the four outfielders in Buffalo.
3. The LA Dodgers signed C Salomon Manriquez after he became a free agent. The 29-year old split time between Binghamton and Buffalo in 2011, hitting a combined .268. Manriquez is one those valuable organizational guys that really have no chance of ever making it all the way. Still, an organization needs up to three catchers per minor league affiliate, plus more in extended camp, to work out the pitching staffs of each team.
