128. Luis Rojas –
Rojas was signed as a 16-year old international free agent in 2006.
He came straight to the States and pitched 2007 (1-2, 13.50, 11-games) and 2008 (3-2, 2.19, 17-G, 24-K, 24.2-IP) for the GCL Mets.
In 2009, he split time between GCL (3-1, 3.09, 13-G) and Kingsport (0-1, 21.32).
In 2010 it was all Savannah… 2-0, 3.58, 23-appearances, 21-K, 21-BB, 37.2-IP
9-23-10 – 2011 forecast: This is a classic case of a kid being rushed too fast. The good news is he will pitch 2011 as a 21-year old, which is plenty of time to develop. The Mets should send him back to Savannah to work on his K and BB ratio.
