Gary Seagren - Ouch!

OUCH.

Wow is this karma for the first half or what.

 Dam...

Harvey and Wheeler get crushed, Santana on the DL with Gee, the bullpen AND the starting staff now are sub-par and TC for reasons I can't fathom insists on playing the Dude over Spin.

So where in the world did Duda get the cache to totally play below standards and keep getting run out there? Come on Terry we REALLY need a spark SOMEWHERE after the last 2 weeks.

The saddest thing about what is now happening is it will probably cost D.Wright any chance of winning the MVP after certainly being our best player and doing it with no real bats behind him.

Sandy is probably more relieved that we don't have to be buyers here, maybe a body or two for cash, just to show he's paying attention.

Anyway the first half was exciting and much more than we could have expected and we do have a  serious number of pitching prospects down on the farm according to Mack so there is some hope going forward.

And how about that recent youtube video of Mike Piazza and his wife as she voiced her opinion about Roger Clemons. I haven't thought about M.P. in awhile but it just hit me about that expression "Life is good". He's only 43 with movie star looks, rich beyond any of our meager dreams, married to a former playmate and on the verge of the HOF.

Yeah Mike Life IS Good.

 Anyway Lets Go Mets!
