Surprised no Lupo, but Rosario made this team. Rosario is what?...17 years old. Lupo lit up the DSL, yet is starting in a inferior league than Rosario, who has yet to play pro ball. He must be pretty advanced at his young age.
Mateo, despite the TJS, still has got the goods. My guess? He'll be in the Queens pen by mid 2015.
Mateo probably won't be back from TJS until mid to late 2014. Afterwards he would rehab pitch in St. Lucie and probably open 2015 in Binghamton.
So he'll be back mid 2014, rehab the rest of the year in St. Lucy? No, he may rehab there, but if he's back by mid '14, he'll end his year in Bingo... By then, I don't think the Mets will be looking to keep him as a starter. My guess is he starts 2015 in Vegas and is in Queens by July.
I don't see why he'd have to stay in Lucy all of 2014 if he makes it back by next June. Once he shows he's healthy, my guess is he'll move quickly; assuming they make him a reliever.
I assume Lupo will be on the DSL squad.
I'll stay out of the Mateo projection. :)
Gotta believe Lupo will be on the GCL roster.
