Mets Minor League Report – June 8

Las Vegas (31-26) is getting creamed by Tacoma (36-24) 11-0 bottom of the 8th.
Absolutely nothing good to report for the 51’s. My mother always told me if you can’t say anything good, say nothing at all.
Binghamton (37-25) slams Altoona (25-36) 9-3.
Another great start for Rafael Montero: (W, 7-3) 7.0 IP, 0 R, 2 H, BB, 6 K.
Cesar Puello: 3-5, HR, 4 RBI, 2 R.   Another outstanding game for Cesar. In his last 10 games with Binghamton, his slash line is .500/.568/1.079/1.647 with 6 HRs.
Travis Taijeron: 3-5, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R, in his first game upon being promoted to AA Binghamton,

Jupiter (31-28) edges St Lucie (30-28) 2-1.
Jupiter broke a 1-1 tie with 3 consecutive 2 out singles against Chase Bradford in the bottom of the 9th for a walkoff win.
Starter Rafael Montero: 6 IP, 1 R, 5 H, (HR) 1 BB, 5 K.
In his 3rd rehab start for Jupiter, Giancarlo Stanton was 0-4. He has been hitless in all 3 games, 0-10.

Jupiter (31-28) and St Lucie (30-28) tied 1-1 suspended after 7 innings.
This is the make-up of a game postponed on June 7.
