Good morning. Happy
Birthday to Columbia second baseman Walter
Rasquin, the Mets Andres
Gimenez to Triple-A Syracuse, and there are all kinds of free
classic MLB games to stream.
No baseball? MLB.TV keeps
expanding the number of free games that you can stream. “The MLB.TV
archives of the 2018 and '19 seasons are open and accessible for all, which
means more than 4,800 games are available to stream for a limited time,
postseason included.” Radio broadcasts
are also included. You will probably
need to set up an MLB.TV account if you already have one. No blackouts.
I was able to see the last game of 2019 complete with Dominic
Smith’s walkoff.
Yahoo

Mets option Giménez to Triple-A. Ali
Sanchez and right-hander Tyler
Bashlor also were assigned to Syracuse. In 14 spring games, Giménez went 6-for-28
(.214) with a homer, two doubles, two strikeouts and three walks. He could
still end up starting the year in Binghamton as MiLB noted “Since 2020
represents his age-20 season, he would still be about three years younger than
the average Eastern Leaguer, should he return to Double-A.”

Morning.
I have no idea who the person was that I interviewed in that blast... age.
BTW... Ty Kelly is very reachable. Would you like me to reach out and have you and him hook up for an interview?
Yes. That would be great. Thanks
Speaking of age, Gimenez turns 22 in Sept, so this is not his age 20 season, but age 21.
Tebow did OK in a short stint this spring, whereas Quinn Brody did terribly in his short stint. I really wish there were stats for the minor league spring camp to combine with those we see in real games that have published stats. That would give a clearer picture. It Tebow was 9 for 25 in those games, his spring would look impressive. We just don’t know.
And certainly the Mets keep those minor games stats, but no one publishes them that I know of.
John, anyone you can ask to see who was excelling in the minors camp?
Tom,
I will ask around but I think the minors games were all cancelled before they got a chance to start.
Have you been seeing the Rumble Ponies MLB The Show results that they are posting on Twitter? They have Brett Baty and Ronnie Mauricio playing spring training games for Binghamton. Wonder if they know something.
Bill Almon has something in common with Max Scherzer. They both have one brown eye and one blue eye.
That is a fact you don't see very often. Thanks for sharing.
