Latest & 'greatest' is that the season won't be starting until, at the earliest, second week of May- however- the reality is that they all know that date is in NO WAY realistic and the earliest the season can start will be either the last week of May or, more likely, mid-June at this rate. If you take into consideration that there can be no assemblages of 50 or more for the next 8 weeks, that brings us to the middle of May, and there will need to be at least another 3 weeks, maybe 4 to get pitchers back up to a physical place where they won't be jeopardizing their health by pushing themselves too soon. So, in the meantime, there are lots of things MLB can do - stay tuned this week to see my list!
