1. Termarr Johnson 

        2B/SS         5-10         175         Mays H.S.

Reclassified from short to second.

Many considered best bat speed in class.

Is in control of each of his at-bats.

Plus raw power developing.

Elite level bat.

Blast Motion & Diamond Kinetics #s are elite.

Sub 18% whiff rate.

Only average arm pushes him to second.

Huge leadership skills both on and off.

Right now, one of the top 5 picks in the draft.


2. Robert Moore 

        SS         5-9         165         Arkansas

2021 Arkansas stat line -

61-G, 233-AB 51-K, 41-BB, .283, .384-OBP, 16- HR, 53-RBI

Strikeout rate under 18%

Walked over 14%

Switch hitter.

Projects as + defender.

+ speed both on-base and as defender.

Sticks at second in 2022 due to Jalen Battles.

 

3. Joe Lampe 

        2B/OF      Arizona State

55-G, 180-AB, .294/.383/.461, 3-HR

Lead-off hitter profile

+ runner - steals often. 70-grade.

Also, advanced defender in CF.


4. Jacob Blas 

        2B          6-1         180          Arizona

2021 Arizona stat line -

Good bat-to-ball skills.

Power developing.

Can play 3B also.

 

5.    Brooks Carlson 

        2B          Auburn

2021 Samford stat line -

Transferred to Auburn this season.

++ hitter

4-yr. Samford career: near .360-BA.

Advanced age will hurt him in the draft.

 

6.    Jared Poland (new)

Should start at second in 2022.

Second was filled last year.
