TJ, still fighting to resurrect his career.

Tim Peterson has pitched well almost everywhere but the majors. The next Paul Sewald?

Weird that Mauricio is out (presumably not allowed to play due to 40 man) while the other dude is OK to play in his league. But, hey, that's 2021 baseball.

Mauricio’s stats should include the 11 errors in just those 25 games that combine to paint a tinted picture of his prospect standing. He certainly isn’t a shortstop and while he may be a good prospect, he strikes out a bit too much to hit for a high average. I’m supposing that if they don’t move him off shortstop, it’s because they are marketing him as such. I don’t think playing in this league will mean too much, unless he misses minor league games if this thing goes on too long. Then, missing games will add to the missed games of 2020, hurting his experience level. Is there a way of knowing if other teams’ prospects on their 40 man are participating in winter leagues?

Also, today at 2pm EST is the minor league portion of the Rule 5. It may make headlines only because there isn’t anything else to talk about!
