Productive day from current and former ex-Mets. Valdez throws 5 shutout innings at age 44? I forgot all about this guy, Cuban who was almost 33 when he debuted with Mets in 2010.
He has been amazing in Winter Ball these past few years - his team didn't make the playoffs so Gigantes picked him up.
I see Cano is back in action, and playing in the field. I don't see Mauricio's name, though. I guess he's not back.
