Player Of The Day -
Sunday’s POD goes to someone that had three hits, including a double.
Syracuse C Tomas Nido.
Nope. Not a misprint. Nido raised his BA to an almost respectable .244.

Right now if you were to ask me who's the most frustrating, confusing, wildcard, cant predict future prospect in Mets farm system my answer is LHP Felipe De La Cruz. Last night 2.2 inn 4 ER 3 BB 7 K. Season 60.2 inn 69 K. Pro career 142.1 inn 168 K. Mid 90s lefty sexy breaker.
Jacob Reimer back with St. Lucie Mets off rehab games and immediately hits a double, curious how high a ceiling this kid can have. He and Jett Williams up the levels together could be really fun and my new favorite wildcard Wilfredo Lara hopefully joins them along the way.
Post game…
DH Jose Peraza (hip flexor strain) went 3 for 5 with a double in his second game on a minor league rehab assignment. .333, .844-OPS
3B Jacob Reimer (.284, .800-OPS) and Yeral Martinez has two hits apiece.
Notables -
CF Wilfredo Lara - 1-4, .248, .77-OPS
SS Jett Williams - 0-4, .224
RHSP Layonel Ovalles - 1.0-IP, 0-R, 4.50

I wish some news would come out about Mauricio. He must be nursing an injury or in the manager's dog house for some reason
Like Vogy was he's probably on a mental break.
