This is Tom. The small consolation is that a no hitter he’s only a seven and game. It’ll be interesting to see what the talent report is on.Zayas. He is doing well in the DSL. He had 2 hits yesterday; the rest of the 2 Mets squads had 4 hits. I am increasingly hopeful for Jace Beck on his control…he and Brendan Hardy seem to be conquering that demon.
“The no hitter was only a 7 inning game.
Being a Mets fan is an accumulation of failed challenges.
I guess with Matt Rudick hurt, hopfully back soon, the Mets decided to promote Jaylen Palmer to AA. He had fanned 92 times in 59 games in A ball. So is it a surprise he started out in AA going 4 for 25 with 15 Ks? This organization makes zero sense.
In past years, I believe that the Mets used the A-S break to promote/demote/ release minor leaguers. Is my belief correct, and if so do they plan to do the same this year? Have they made any moves yet this week?
