Syracuse.com:
New Mets president slots Binghamton into organization’s minor league lineup.
While the confirmation wasn’t a surprise in Syracuse, Brooklyn or St. Lucie, it
did cause a sigh of relief in Binghamton. The Rumble Ponies were one of the
teams speculated as a candidate for contraction under a new Professional
Baseball agreement being negotiated between the minors and majors. Alderson
also indicated that Brooklyn, currently a short-season New York-Penn League
team, will make the move to a full season-squad. The Columbia Fireflies and
Kingsport Mets, both Class A teams, are gone as affiliates.

I love the birthday names. Half these guys, I recall the names, but have no recollection of them actually playing.
My brother wants the best = Realmuto - and a competent back up catcher. That certainly makes a lot of sense.
I think everyone will love Realmuto for the first half of his contract and not so much the second half as his skills decline and he deals with Hip issues. If they win a WS in 3-5 years it will be worth it.
I like your idea about the two Catcher tandem the best. It allows for both to play at their peak and if one gets hurt - you are not stuck.
John, like any contract like this, it has a defined yearly payout, but in actuality, the real value is up front.
Let's say He signs for 5 years $150. It would really be worth $40 yr 1, $35 year 2, $30 year 3, $25 year 4, and $20 year 5.
