in relief of the starter Brandon Magee, tossing 3.1
scoreless innings to pick up the win.

STARTING PITCHING MATCHUP:

RHP Dylan Owen will make
the start in the series finale today. Owen worked 5.2 innings
for the second straight time last Tuesday at Portland giving up
four runs in a no-decision. Owen was in line for the win before
the bullpen gave up the game allowing five runs in the final
two innings. On the season, he is 0-1 with a 6.98 ERA in 19.1

2009 today. In his last start, Boone worked six innings giving
up four runs against New Britain, but did not factor into the

and Dunedin (High-A) appearing in 27 games including 21
starts with an 11-6 record and 3.52 ERA in 143 innings.
Boone was Toronto’s seventh round pick out of the University
of Texas in 2007.
