THEY CALL IT A WALK-OFF:
Through 31 games entering the
four-game series with Trenton last weekend, the B-Mets had
yet to win in the their final at-bat as the home team, but
Thursday’s 8-7 win and Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Thunder
provided that excitement for the hometown faithful. Thursday,
Binghamton rallied from a 7-5 deficit to win in the ninth on an
error committed Trenton second baseman Justin Snyder. Josh
Petersen tied the score in the ninth with a two-run homer.
