Mack, Joaquin Arias will forever be known as the "other guy" in the A-Rod to the Yankees for Soriano and a player to be named later. From what I've read, the Rangers came down to Joaquin Arias and another Single-A 2B that you may have heard of, uh, Robinson Cano!
Nice job Tom Hicks in first off signing that ridiculous deal for A-Rod and then just a few years later realize that he can finish in last place with or without A-Rod. Then, he decided to go with Arias instead of Cano. Who am I to judge, Joaquin Arias brought them Jeff Francor(I'm done spelling his name correctly,"FRANCOUER")! LOL
I was Senior V.P. of Sales for Tom Hicks' company... Capstar Broadcasting.... stoies I could tell you.
Mack
