ALOT of very interesting names in the starting pitcher category that I wouldn't mind seeing signed. Take away the first few names(I'm sure the mets will too) and then there is some intriguing possibilities. Willis, Vasquez, Marquis.
I wouldn't mind taking another crack at Chris Young. Might be able to get him on a minor league deal now.
Joel Piniero, Jason Marquis, Brandon Webb, and Dontrelle Willis are some guys I'd add via a low 1 yr deal salary with incentives based on health/performance to boost it up.
I'd be very concerned having two pitchers coming off shoulder surgery in the rotation. One is bound to go down. Piniero would be a great choice, but i think too expensive for the Mets. Like I said, definatly some good possibilities.
