Owen Spiwak is a 2013 C/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Cawthra Park Secondary. Has a strong athletic build with a good frame. Has a strong arm behind the plate with a quick transfer, gains ground, throws are accurate, receives the ball well in games, good catch and throw mechanics, has quickness behind the plate. Starts out at the plate with high hands and a high back elbow, good balance at start, good approach, has bat speed, makes line drive contact., gets lift in his swing, has pop in his bat, has the ability to get extended at the plate. Is a good overall student.
