Austin Coley of Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, Tenn. has signed a National Letter of intent to play baseball at Belmont University, as announced by Head Coach Dave Jarvis on Thursday.
"Austin is a great fit for Belmont University both on and off the field," Jarvis said. "He will be a great fit for our program as he is an excellent kid as well as an excellent student. He has a very projectable frame, and with added strength and maturity, will certainly be a factor on our pitching staff."
Coley (6'3", 170 lb.) is a right-handed pitcher, and the number one starter for Siegel High of District 7-AAA, one of the top districts in the state of Tennessee. He is 3-1 on the mound this season with a 1.81 ERA, 33 strikeouts and only four walks in 27.0 innings pitched.
