ST. LUCIE METS–FLYING TIGERS GAME POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. — The scheduled Florida State League game between the St. Lucie Mets and the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Thursday, June 6 at Tradition Field has been postponed due to inclement weather and the threat of continuous rain in the forecast throughout the evening.
Since the Mets and Flying Tigers do not play each other again in the first half of the season, the game will not be made up.
Fans with tickets from Thursday night's game can exchange them at the Tradition Field ticket office for any other remaining St. Lucie Mets regular season home game during the 2013 season, excluding July 4.
The live entertainment show featuring the Zooperstars has been rescheduled for Friday, August 16 at Tradition Field at 6:30 p.m., which coincides with Back to School Night.
The Mets will visit the Jupiter Hammerheads for a three-game series from June 7-9 and will play at Clearwater June 10-13 before the Florida State League All-Star break.
