I've changed my mind about this whole 1b thing. I don't have a ton of faith in Ike, but I just can't stand the idea of Lucas Duda in the opening day lineup.
It sounds to me like the Mets are shopping both, and will trade whichever one gets the best return...but heres the thing...that means they have to play the one with the least value every day.
At this point I say, keep Ike, and have Flores start the year at first in AAA. If Ike struggles callup Flores and give him the job.
I say trade them both and let Murphy man 1B with FLores at 2B
