St. Lucie 11 - Bradenton 0

The St. Lucie Mets tied their season high of four home runs in an 11-0 thrashing of the Bradenton Marauders on Thursday at McKechnie Field.

Cam Maron drilled a three-run homer off of Chad Kuhl with two outs in the first inning and the clubbing would only continue.

Jairo Perez hit two home runs, a two run shot in the third and a three-run jack in the fifth, to increase the Mets lead to 8-0 against Kuhl.

T.J. Rivera capped off the night with a two-run blast against Robby Rowland in the eighth to make it 11-0.

The four home runs on Thursday matched the four the Mets hit on Monday against Charlotte. Overall, the Mets have hit nine home runs in the last four games and lead the Florida State League with 21 long balls.

Mets starter Michael Fulmer didn’t need much run support as he received. He limited the Marauders to just two hits in six scoreless innings. Fulmer has now shut out the Marauders over 11 straight innings dating back to his previous start last Friday.

Rivera went 4 for 5 with the homer, RBI double and two singles. He’s now hitting an FSL-leading .408.

Perez has three home runs - all against Bradenton - since coming off the disabled list last Friday.

Dilson Herrera went 3 for 5 from the leadoff spot and scored twice.

The Mets pounded out 15 hits. The only Met without a hit was Eudy Pina. - team press release
