I had pneumonia a few years back - that's no fun at all. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Last Night's game...

I am especially concerned that Cespedes missed an opportunity to go to 2nd base on his Bloop Hit….and Grandy didn’t go to second on his Gapper when the throw went through to the plate.

I was watching on MLB extra Innings–I had the Cleeveland Feed. They didn’t reshow the play…maybe there was a reason for Grandy staying at 1st?…. Cespedes obviously Jaked it out of the Box.

Less than 10 games in…. following an off day… these guys aren’t good enough to “Play Bored”. Apart from the HR’s, the team has struggled for runs…giving away bases on offense is a very bad sign.

@eraff

During the SNY broadcast I believe it was Keith who commented that Grandy may have assumed there's no way tueffel was gonna send the runner so he figured it would be 1st and third no out so he didn't try it.

Mack,

The thing I remember about pneumonia is how debilitating it is yet you don't realize it. I was in my 20s, just discharged from the hospital after 3 weeks for something unrelated when I had developed pneumonia. I went with my mother to the drug store on the way home from the hospital to get the prescriptions filled and she advised me to sit and wait by the pharmacy counter. Being every bit as stubborn then as I am now, I said that after three weeks of laying on my back in the hospital I wanted to enjoy the freedom to walk around! Well, one lap around the big pharmacy left me gasping for breath...so take it easy until it passes.
