SUSPENDED - P - Matt Harvey

The New York Mets have announced that they have suspended pitcher Matt Harvey for three games due to a 'violation of team rules'.

Adam Wilk was called up from Las Vegas to pitch on Sunday.

Both Sandy Alderson and Terry Collins would not discuss this any more.

OMG I'm almost afraid to open my computer. To suspend him now with all the pitching problems we have it must be really serious.

Who is in charge of enforcing those rules? Who yet again proved he was incapable of managing a ballclub? If you said "Who is Terry Collins?" you have just picked the daily double.

The circus has arrived in Queens again. High wire and clown acts abound.

Reports are out that Harvey was golfing on Saturday, then said he had a migraine, but didn't bother to notify his employer that he wasn't planning to show up. I have a doctor's appointment in the morning. Not only did I let my boss know not to expect me, I also let my staff and my peers in other departments know. That's how professionals communicate.

While the Tanks soar, Harvey gives the Mets migraines.

The same Matt who is 2-2, 5.14 with just 20 Ks in 35 IP. Rough Knight.
