2/14/16 6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from a square, upright stance. Fairly flat swing path and showed some juice when he was able to elevate the baseball. Was often late getting his front foot down, causing him to not be able to tap into his physical strength. Could benefit from widening his base to make it easier to incorporate his lower half as well. Defensively, he exhibited playable actions and some carry on his 71-mph arm strength.

Mack's spin -

The only knock on Carpenter's game is no one knows what he would do if he was hitting for a top school that faces Top 20 teams.

Still, every team needs first baseman in their chain and he will be drafted in the last second day rounds.
