Between Baty, Cortes, Senger and Reyes, they were on base 8 of 12 times, with 4 RBIs, Baty doing the most damage. For some reason, all games in AFL were 7 innings last night. Offense for the 4 is finally stirring, and Baty is HOT, although they still walk a lot but homer little (1).
Tom - they all went 7 because today is the All Star game and they were resting pitchers. Game shoukd be on MLB Network at 7 Eastern or so. Baty lone Met.
Is Mejia a FA? If so, is he a candidate for MnL deal?
This kid Cano could really be something. 2 for 4? Wow. Anyone know anything about him?
He was a "can't miss" for the Bronx team years ago, but who knows what happened to him after that? 😁

Mejia? Still just 32, has to be a FA, but his last real foray in statewide minor league pro ball in 2019 was not impressive.

Mejia pitched last summer in the Mexican league - Algodoneros Union Laguna. He hasn't been on an MLB minor league roster since 2019 when the Red Sox released him. I am sure he'd jump at a minor league deal. I am not sure if Sandy would be high on that.

Sorry Bill. That was all I was able to find. Probably a 4.50 - 5.00 ERA if he pitched one inning each game.
