My favorite part of this site is discussing the draft especially when we can focus on a small number of prospects (this year we only need to know about the top 20 because since we don’t see all the kids it’s hard to keep track of more with out quitting our day job)

What do you feel is the strength of this draft ? And over all do you consider this to be a deep draft?

Me personally I want only to focus on OF and pitchers with our early picks

They say stay best players available but we lack in those areas the most in my opinion…

Deepest draft in last 10 years.

Deep in both OF bats and starters

I happen to like the HS talent more but there are some great college pitchers in this draft.

Mets should have great chance for 4 top picks here.

Speaking about prospects (and whatever they want thats not nailed down) what would it cost for Trout and would you do it?

Mack Ade said...

A lot.

No. I wouldn't. Money could easily be spread amongst 2 great players.

An exciting 5. Hopefully we can strike gold.
