Mack - Prospect Report

Perfect Game Ohio Valley @PG_OhioValley

‘23 Jacob Brown (MI) barrels this ball for a double straightaway center. Easy well-timed leg raise load. Present strength and bat speed.

CF Isaiah Drake (Westlake (GA), 2023) goes through the middle on 3-1 for a leadoff single. Impact in the bat has been evident throughout most of the summer, with game changing speed on the basepaths. Very high follow in Georgia for the 2023 draft.

9-3-22 - PBR LOUISIANA: 2023 RANKINGS UPDATE

https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/news/LA/PBR-Louisiana-4058629173?s=03 -

-2023 RHP Hayden Harmon (Glenbrook HS):  The Glenbrook Apaches were unable to participate in post-season play this past spring, as they were in their first year with the LHSAA.

Heading into year 2 with the association and now eligible to compete for a state title, the Apaches should be one of the favorites in Class 1A, especially with the return of Harmon on the mound.

The Louisiana Tech commit has steadily worked his way up the ladder, thanks to a heavy FB with life and good tilt that's been up to 91-92 mph.  His out pitch, however, is a sharp and tight, late-breaking SL in the upper-70's to low-80's that's been registered up to 2,932 RPM per Trackman Baseball/.

Harmon finished the summer season with a 1.82 ERA and 60 strikeouts across 38 innings pitched.  Combine him with other stars such as Maddox Mandino, Easton Sanders, and others, and it's easy to see why Glenbrook fans should be excited for this upcoming baseball season.  Harmon moves up to #11 in this rankings update.

9-6-22 - UPDATED 2023 TEXAS PLAYER RANKINGS

#5 Kendall George - OF - Atascocita - Arkansas Commit

There is fast, and then there is Kendall George.  The Razorback commit is one of the most exciting players in the state.  He routinely has + times down the line, making every ball he puts on the ground a close play.  He shows good barrel awareness and the ability to use the whole field at the plate.

OF Kendall George  continued his strong summer with a 4-for-10 showing in San Diego. A smooth left-handed stroke and excellent bat-to-ball skills make for a high contact rate for the 5-foot-10, 165-pound Arkansas recruit. In five games, he went 4-for-10 and didn’t strike out. He has wiry strength in his frame that should eventually develop into gap power, but for now, he sprays the ball around the field and puts pressure on the defense with his plus-plus speed. - Shooter Hunt

2. Walker Jenkins, OF, South Brunswick HS (N.C.)

Jenkins’ summer was upended by a hamate injury, and he tried to rush back for Team USA trials, leading to a less than optimal performance. Scouts expect to see his plus bat and innate knack for finding the barrel on display once healthy in the spring.

No. 2 Miami commit OF Luca Reyes (Bergen Catholic) raised some eyebrows on the national stage, too. Reyes was one of the top overall position players at the event, as discussed by our own National Crosschecker, Shooter Hunt in August. "The left-handed hitter gains leverage from the long frame, spreading out before moving well through impact. He delivered a big home run early in the week which likely sparks future power potential thoughts, and presented a balanced look with some feel to use the whole field," Shooter said in his writeup of Reyes.
