Just finished up at the Jerry Manuel press conference... he is very ipressed with Oliver Perez and thankful that both Perez and Johan Santana have formed a friendship that will only make Peres a better pitcher. Manuel said that Santana was always available to Perez, but this year, it is Perez that has reached out to Johan.
