Boof Bonser inked a minor-league deal with the team yesterday. Bonser, 29, impressed as a rookie in 2006, lugging a 4.22 ERA through 18 starts with Minnesota. His numbers ballooned each year after that. The Twins booted him from the rotation in 2008.

Bonser missed all of 2009 after undergoing surgery to repair his labrum and rotator cuff. He pitched poorly in relief for Oakland and Boston last season.
