MLB Player Draft - Mack's Top 266 Picks in the 2013 Draft

Okay...

This is it...

We've reached the end of the 'mock draft' season and it's time to put up or shut up.

These are my top 278 picks, in order, based on... well, based on a bunch of things.

1. I average the past 45 mock drafts I have compiled over the 'season'.

2. I study all the scouting reports that I print out details on at 8pm each night in the 'Draft 13' post.

3. I talk daily to scouts about all these guys.

4. I throw in injury factors, like Sean Manaea, who easily would have bee a top 10 pick until his being taken out of the conference games this week.

5. And, then, I just use a little common sense when it comes to the Mets pick. Do I go 'home' and go position with the Mets pick? Well, yes and no. I do go college with the first three picks because I want those guys to be Queens ready in late 2015. Past that, it's best player on the board regardless to whether he's a high school senior or college junior/senior.
