That is simply CRAZY! But, kudos to the Mariners for going for it, I suppose.

Even more amusing his how the media already paints the Yankees as "smart" and Cano as the "greedy" bad guy.

Coming from an organization that defines overspending and greed!!! Good one!

Oh, and if it were the Mets losing a player like Cano, the media would be crucifying the team as having "lost out", etc.

Funny, hypocritical stuff!

If i were a betting man id bet the gm for seatle will be fired this time next yr. Cano for 10 yrs at 31 yrs old is insane.

This signing allows the Mariners to after Price now. With high upside ML pieces like Walker, Franklin, Miller, Zunino and prospects they have the right combination to land him. If they land Price along with Cano it's a huge improvement but their OF is still very suspect. WC contender at best. But whoa what a 1-2 punch KIng Felix and Price would supply atop the rotation!
