METS-MARLINS POSTPONED TODAY;
MAKE-UP GAME RESCHEDULED AS PART OF SINGLE-ADMISSION DOUBLEHEADER
MONDAY, AUGUST 5 AT 4:10 P.M.

FLUSHING, N.Y., May 12, 2019 – The New York Mets have announced that this afternoon’s game against the Miami Marlins has been postponed due to the forecast for inclement weather and rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Monday, August 5 at 4:10 p.m. The second game of the double-header will start approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

After reviewing forecasts from three independent weather services, we have decided to postpone today’s game in advance to allow our fans to enjoy Mother’s Day with their families. The Mother’s Day Infinity Scarf that was today’s giveaway will be handed out prior to the doubleheader on Monday, August 5th.

·         Only tickets marked “Monday, August 5, 2019 – Game 50” will be valid for admission to the August 5 single-admission doubleheader beginning at 4:10 p.m.

·         Fans holding a paid ticket for today’s game marked “Sunday, May 12, 2019 – Game 18” may NOT use that ticket for the Monday, August 5 single-admission doubleheader, but can exchange it for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2019 regular season home game at Citi Field, including the August 5 doubleheader (but excluding the July 2-3 Subway Series vs. Yankees and Saturday, June 29 (’69 50th Anniversary Celebration)), subject to availability.

·         Fans holding a paid ticket for today’s game marked “Sunday, May 12, 2019 – Game 18” may also exchange that ticket for a ticket of a different price or location to another Mets 2019 regular season home game at Citi Field, including the August 5 doubleheader (but excluding the July 2-3 Subway Series vs. Yankees and Saturday, June 29 (’69 50th Anniversary Celebration)), subject to availability. If such an exchange is made for a higher priced ticket, the face value of the paid ticket for tonight’s game will be applied as a credit toward the price of the higher priced ticket.

·         Fans holding digital tickets for today’s game can display those tickets in the MLB Ballpark app to facilitate an exchange at the Citi Field Box Office. Rain checks will be moved to the bottom of your Ticket Wallet in the MLB Ballpark app and be displayed as “Marlins @ Mets (Rain check) – May 12, 2019.”

Unused paid tickets marked “Sunday, May 12, 2019 – Game 18” can be submitted for exchange by mail or in person at the Citi Field Box Office.

Complimentary tickets to today’s game and those marked "NO RAINCHECK" have no value and do not constitute a rain check.

The Citi Field Ticket Windows will open at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
