Rumble Ponies first basemen/catcher Patrick Mazeika has been named Eastern League Player of the Week for the week of May 13-19. It is the second straight week that a Rumble Ponies Player has received Eastern League honors. Last week, Rumble Ponies pitcher Harol Gonzalez was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week.

Heckuva week - may it be a sign of breakthrough for Mazeika - I've said it multiple times now - playing winter ball in April and May can shrink batting averages. Of late, now that the weather is hotter, Pat is rip roaring.
OMG the sky is truly falling after hearing Cespedes news dam we need a break.
