I am incredibly sad to hear of the passing of Horace Clarke. He came up late in the 1965 season, and as an 11 yr. old I sent him a fan letter. He replied with a beautiful handwritten letter on Yankee stationary which I treasured. Hated the beating he took from Yankee fans. RIP.— Howie Rose (@HowieRose) August 6, 2020

John -
Morning.
I had a lot of hope for Kirk Nieuwenhuis.
It makes me worry about the long term future of Pete Alonso.
The word has obviously gone around that he will go fishing against pitches sliding low outside.
Lots of great stuff John, and Yelich hustling all around the bases is beautiful. Great to see a star hustle.
