Jackson Clemett is a 2022 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Calgary, AB who attends Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball close to body, quick transfer into a full arm action, takes shorter steps on the charge and moves well off the base, gets on top of throws with accuracy. Fields the ball out front in the outfield with an extra step through release, stays shorter through the back and can continue to incorporate additional lower half into release. Also pitched, shows tempo to delivery with a high leg lift up to belt, shorter stride down the mound and remains short with his arm action while working to a three-quarters release point. Lived down with fastball and topped out at 74 mph with late life away from barrels; feel for curveball developed throughout. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, stays shorter to the ball and shows best contact when working on a linear path. Shows occasional shift and can work the gaps as well as all fields, projects with more extension and getting hands out at point of contact.

Jackson Clemett, OF - Jackson Clemett was a late addition to the game and came in under the radar, but he proved that he belonged on this stage with his play over the weekend. Clemett has the bat speed and athleticism to develop into an intriguing outfielder, and has some projection remaining on his body. He’s going to be a guy to watch over the next nine months to see where he is at before the draft.

Uncommitted 2021 who has recently made the move to Vauxhall Academy. Athletic build, continues to improve strength and add size to projectable frame. Swing looks much improved from left side.
