RHP Vince Trapani is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound righty who is a power pitcher with true starter potential. He throws from a vertical arm slot and uses a unique delivery. In his delivery, he sinks into his back hip and tilts his spine towards second base. He then drives downhill towards the plate.
Trapani throws a four-seam fastball, curveball, and changeup. He also occasionally mixes in a two-seamer. His fastball sits 92-94 mph and tops out at 95 mph. His curveball is his outpitch and shows 11-to-5 movement.
He consistently attacks the zone and locates his pitches well.

Big body RHP with an athletic delivery. Impressive FB that sits in the mid 90s with elite spin (2400-2500RPM) while averaging 21<94>+ of induced vertical break. Will flash a plus CB and CH, but lacks a true put away pitch.

Vincent Trapani is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Eau Claire, WI who attends Memorial. Big and strong physical build. Fairly fast paced delivery with a high leg raise start, some drift down the mound, fast arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 95 mph, maintained velocity very well in the 92-94 mph range, fastball is pretty straight through the zone. Slider is his out pitch, very high spin rate with bite and occasional depth, over matched hitters with the slider, tunnels it very well with his fastball. Drops his slot a bit for a softer curveball with good spin as well. Fading change works arm side to left handed hitters. Power arm with a starter's collection of pitches and a present out pitch in his slider. His next step will be developing some more plane and life on his fastball.
