Marriott has been on the rise after a stellar outing at Area Code. 6'1, 195 with some projection left to his body, low-effort delivery generates a FB that sits in the 91-94 MPH range and has touched 95 MPH this summer with late life. Pairs the heater with a solid SL in the 80-81 MPH range with bite and high spin (2,700+). There is a developing CH in there in the mid-80's and a CB with high spin in the mid-70's, as well.

Mason Marriott (2021 Tomball, TX) The competitiveness and ability to work through an absolutely loaded line up at the WWBA makes it hard to ignore the type of potential Marriott conceivably owns. He held 90-93 mph over the entirety of his complete game performance. The ability to manipulate the breaking ball and pitch backwards was a sight-to-see.

Strong frame, listed at 6-2, 190. Pitched three innings in first appearance of Area Code Games, allowing to walks while striking out four. Sat 91-94 from short arm action. Slider is sharp with late break at 78-82, above average pitch. Mixed in solid changeup at 82. Finished event with five innings pitched, one run (none earned) allowed on two hits, two walks, a hit batter and four strikeouts.

Mason Marriott, RHP, Banditos
Marriott turned in a dominant performance against a strong lineup as he turned in a complete game, one-run performance while maintaining his stuff the entire time. Marriott showed good fire and competitiveness as he worked in the 90-93 mph range throughout the game, showing a very advanced and innate feel to spin and manipulate the breaking balls.
