111 Chris Stanfield OF Lawton Chiles 

Tallahassee, FL 

Stanfield is an incredibly imposing hitter with loud tools smattering his scouting report. It's comfortably a double-plus run tool with at least a plus arm for the field. Stanfield was among the best hitters in the country in 2021 in making contact at the plate and avoiding swing and miss. He's got juice in the bat and can play any of the three outfield positions.

20. Atlanta Braves

Carson Whisenhunt, LHP, East Carolina 

The Braves had may hay over the past half-decade drafting college arms and, given the position in the draft, there are a handful of college arms who start to make sense here. Whisenhunt is a crafty lefty with a premier body and more in the tank. He’s been up to 95, but most believe he’ll throw more cheese as he matures. Whisenhunt has a dynamic changeup that induces a lot of swing-and-miss and poor contact. It’s an underrated arsenal that figures to gain traction as folks get more eyes on him throughout the spring. Don’t count out guys like Blade Tidwell, Peyton Pallette, or even Kumar Rocker here. It all depends on who’s still on the board and how the Braves set their pecking order.

294 Mason Morris 3B/RHP Tupelo 

Tupelo, MS 

Yet another two-way talent in this prep class. Will run in up to the low 90s on the mound, will show above average Hit/Power tools. Soft hands combined with his frame and plus arm strength will give his profile at 3B his highest ceiling.

108 Colby Halter  SS Florida 

Jacksonville, FL 

Among the most sought preps in the 2020 class, decided to go to campus. Big signing bonus expectations reportedly were to blame. Halter is a mature, patient hitter who peppers the whole field. Concerns over impact at the plate as well as lateral mobility may move him to second base. That said, he's one of the more famous names in the class.
