84 Henry Bolte OF Palo Alto

Palo Alto, CA

Bolte really burst onto the scene at Area Code Games and at WWBA. He's a tall, strong outfielder with thump and a ton of speed on the field as well. Bolte could end up at any of the three outfield positions depending on what trajectory his body takes. There's some swing and miss in this profile right now, but you're buying the projection here.

16. Cleveland Guardians

Noah Schultz, LHP, Oswego East

The 6-foot-9-inch Schultz may be the most unique arm in the 2022 class. Guys his age and size and don’t generally have the body control and feel for the strike zone that Schultz possesses, but alas. The fastball has been up to 94, but the bread and butter may ultimately be a slurvy breaking ball with mammoth spin rates and big two-plane break. He’s shown feel for turning over a changeup as well.

The Guardians spent three years optimizing Andrew Miller and may have good idea of what to do with Schultz straight out of the gate. Any number of players make sense here including Peyton Pallette, Carson Whisenhunt, or any of the talented high school arms.

254 Austin Knight 3B Charlotte

Jacksonville, FL

Transfer from Tennessee, Knight has a solid hit tool and a frame that suggest there's more power to come. There's some whiff tendencies in Knight's game, but he hits the ball hard and can play a reasonable infield defense.

1-11-22 - Dillon Carroll @DillonCarroll2

Gavin Guidry is making huge improvements to his pitch arsenal this offseason; very coachable kid and it’s been enjoyable to watch.

106 Gavin Guidry SS Alfred M. Barbe Lake Charles, LA

Wide base, Guidry really gets into his legs and back leg at the plate. He's shown a good feel for hit with some natural loft. Carries the baseball really well. Twitchy hips allow Guidry to really turn on the baseball and get the head out in front. Likes to work up the middle, but Guidry extends well and can punish mistakes without selling out. Comfortably a plus runner right now with long levers and a projectable baseball frame.

Bolte looks interesting - athletic.

What do you think about Schultze, Mack?
