B-Mets Makeup Games Set For July 11 & 13

 
 
BINGHAMTON, NY – The suspended and postponed Binghamton Mets games against the Portland Sea Dogs, originally scheduled for June 25 and June 26 at Hadlock Field, will be played at NYSEG Stadium on Thursday, July 11 and Saturday, July 13.

The B-Mets and Sea Dogs suspended contest from June 25, which was halted after two scoreless innings in Portland, will be resumed at 5:35 PM on Thursday, July 11. Gates at NYSEG Stadium will open at 5:00 PM. The teams will play a nine-inning game. Binghamton’s regularly-scheduled home game against the Sea Dogs for July 11 will follow the completion of the resumed game and will be scheduled for seven innings.

The contest originally scheduled for June 26 will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, July 13. The first game of the twin-bill will start at 5:05 PM, with gates scheduled to open at 4:00 PM. The second game will start approximately 30 minutes after the final out of game one. The B-Mets will serve as the home team and bat last in each of the seven-inning games.

The B-Mets (52-31) continue their final series before the All-Star Break on Saturday night at 7:05 PM. RHP Noah Syndergaard gets the ball against RHP Ryan Tepera. The Horizon Federal Credit Union Pregame Show begins at 6:50 PM.
