After a great start of the season for the Binghamton Mets, Verrett seems to have slowed down a bit in terms of results. The peripherals, however, still show him being very effective. He still striking out just enough guys along with having excellent command and a 4 pitch repertoire. That combination makes him about as likely as anyone in the minor leagues to stick as a back end of the rotation kind of guy. I still expect his name to float around come the trade deadline but if not then he'll probably stick in Bingo for the rest of the year before going to Vegas next year.
