Mack's Mets #20 organizational prospect is......
#20 RHP Logan Verrett (LR: #22)
Bats: R Throws: R
Height: 6' 2" Weight: 180 lb
Acquired: 2011 Rule 4 Draft, 3rd Round, Baylor University
2013: (AA) 8-4, 4.22 ERA, 2.0 BB/9, 7.3 K/9, 1.134 WHIP
2012: (A/A+) 5-2, 2.70 ERA, 1.1 BB/9, 8.1 K/9, 0.968 WHIP
After a great start of the season for the Binghamton Mets, Verrett seems to have slowed down a bit in terms of results. The peripherals, however, still show him being very effective. He still striking out just enough guys along with having excellent command and a 4 pitch repertoire. That combination makes him about as likely as anyone in the minor leagues to stick as a back end of the rotation kind of guy. I still expect his name to float around come the trade deadline but if not then he'll probably stick in Bingo for the rest of the year before going to Vegas next year.

Why is Robert Carson still on the 40 man roster? Isn't there another prospect the Mets can protect on their 40 man?............... I actually love the idea of the 6 man rotation, solely because Im selfish and I wanna see Harvey and Wheeler pitch the entire season, even if every 6 days instead of 5.
The 6 man is the perfect rotation for a staff with young arms that ISN'T trying to get to the playoffs... which is probably what this team will turn into around August 1st
Carson has never had anything but a fastball with no movement. He remains in the organization because of the lack of lefties at that level.
4 teams ahead in wild cared ahh not last time I checked?
