Draft 14 - An Early Look At: LHP Dave Peterson - Regis Jesuit (CO) HS
#2 LHP - Dave Peterson
6-9-13 - 23.David Peterson, LHP (Colorado HS): Probably the best lefty available in the high school ranks. At 6’7″, 210 lbs. with a fastball just touching 90 mph, he still has plenty of room for projection. http://www.minorleaguerundown.com/2013/06/09/2014-mlb-draft-top-30-prospects/
7-2-13 - 88. David Peterson- LHP, Regis Jesuit (CO) HS http://www.ninebaseball.org/Wordpress/jeff-sullivans-top-100-2014-prospects/
7-24-13 - David Peterson, lhp, Regis Jesuit, Denver/FTB - Colorado has a strong lineage of big, projectable high school pitchers and Peterson is next in line. With broad shoulders and long arms and legs, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound Oregon commit fits the description. Peterson has an easy delivery and hides the ball well from a tick below three-quarter arm slot. His velocity sat in the upper-80s and touched 91 mph with above-average movement. Both his mid-70s curveball and 78-79 mph changeup are in the developmental stages but show promise. http://www.baseballamerica.com/draft/tyler-koleks-heavy-fastball-among-tournament-of-stars-standouts/
8-14-13 - Regis Jesuit senior left-handed pitcher David Peterson tossed a scoreless inning for the West in its 8-6 victory over the East in the 2013 Perfect Game All-American Classic Aug. 11 at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Regis Jesuit’s David Peterson, a member of the 2013 Aurora Sentinel All-City Baseball Team poses, June 17, 2013, at Regis Jesuit High School. (Marla R. Keown/Aurora Sentinel)+ Peterson — who reached as high as 92 mph on the radar gun — finished a perfect inning with a strikeout to help the West win the showcase game featuring 51 of the best prep players from across the country. - See more at: http://www.aurorasentinel.com/sports/preps/baseball-peterson-strong-in-san-diego-regis-jesuit-hires-matt-darr/#sthash.H40fvxMI.dpuf
